FreeBSD Configuration

FreeBSD is a very stable Unix operating system originally developed by the University of California Berkley's ... Berkley Software Development program (hence the BSD). The stability of the operating system is so recognized that it is the back end system for Apple INC's  OSX software.

This section of the website will assist a novice administrator in setting up a webserver using FreeBSD, Apache, MySQL and PHP (referred to as a FAMP setup).  A special thanks to Tad Dorsey for going through the installation numerous times and documenting the lessons he learned!
